In my life as a Christian so far, I have preached the Gospel to some people and this with success, so that they called on the name of the Lord and accepted the pure and true Gospel, yet I have not got to experience soul winning in the flesh until now. I have known the NIFB since 2015 and also follow them online; I came into contact with Anselm in about 2020 via Instagram and I was very surprised that there is an NIFB group in Germany that even goes soul winning! This made me very happy and hopeful for Germany.
The trip to Wittenberg went well and without any problems. When we arrived, we were positively surprised by the hospitality. There were many Bibles, wine (grape juice of course 😉) as well as a wonderful sermon called “Defense against the Adversaries and Critics” preached by Brother Anselm. After leaving the sermon with complete determination and motivation and ambition for God, we went downtown and the soul winning began.
When it came down to the nitty-gritty, we were divided into groups. At first, I did not dare to approach people in “real life”; although I had already preached the Gospel to a lot of people, it was still something special on the street. So now we were walking around and had already approached some people, and finally we met three young people and their grandfather at the Luther Church. Anselm preached the Gospel to them, making sure they really understood it completely. He helped them make a prayer and all three children got saved, hallelujah!
“Going back to the Greek” – literally, after this successful soul winning, we went to a Greek place and had a very delicious meal.
After lunch, I was in a group with Moses Golla. We also approached some people and a young girl seemed very interested, but unfortunately she did not call on the name of the Lord in our presence, but at least she took the flyer. There were no salvations in our group unfortunately, but Anthony’s group had some. That means we came to a total of five salvations that day, which was a great success!
